Dr. Edwards is an experienced, board certified general surgeon with special interests in advanced laparoscopic, endoscopic, endocrine and breast surgery. She recently moved to Maine from Michigan, where she provided patient care in all aspects of general surgery in a busy, private practice.

Dr. Edwards received her BA from Ohio State University and her MD from the Medical College of Ohio. She completed her surgical residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio; and is a fellow of
the American College of Surgeons and Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Edwards lives in the area with her husband Kip and their two young daughters. She is looking forward to joining the community and providing comprehensive and exceptional surgical services.
